Grandes corrientes de lodo cubrieron los arrecifes con sedimentos y enturbiaron las aguas, dejando que los corales murieran. Un grupo local de bi\u00f3logos marinos y buceadores est\u00e1 restaurando los arrecifes de coral mediante la recolecci\u00f3n de corales j\u00f3venes y su replantaci\u00f3n con \u00e9xito en los arrecifes. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW55142206 BCX8\">playa<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW55142206 BCX8\">de S\u00e1mara <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW55142206 BCX8\">en Guanacaste tuvieron la mayor crisis de alta mortalidad debido a la sedimentaci\u00f3n y la contaminaci\u00f3n marina. Ante esto, se implementa la jardiner\u00eda de corales con el objetivo de devolver a la comunidad los beneficios ecosist\u00e9micos que proporcionan los arrecifes de coral y evaluar su impacto social a nivel comunitario. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW55142206 BCX8\">A medida que el proyecto recupere los beneficios ecosist\u00e9micos del coral, aumentar\u00e1 el impacto positivo en la
