En 2018, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9e patrimoine culturel immat\u00e9riel de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 par l\u2019UNESCO. Cette technique est bas\u00e9e sur la construction de murs avec des pierres trouv\u00e9es \u00e0 proximit\u00e9.
