Ils fonctionnent comme des micro-habitats et constituent une infrastructure verte essentielle \u00e0 pr\u00e9server en tant que mesure de protection de la flore et de la faune locales et pour renforcer les m\u00e9canismes d\u2019adaptation des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes au changement climatique. Ce projet vise \u00e0 restaurer des murs en pierre s\u00e8che gravement endommag\u00e9s sur un itin\u00e9raire de randonn\u00e9e dans une zone Natura vierge d\u2019Andros. J.-C., a aujourd\u2019hui une production agricole limit\u00e9e. En raison de son caract\u00e8re montagneux, elle a le privil\u00e8ge de poss\u00e9der plus d\u2019eau que le reste des \u00eeles des Cyclades. Les divers microclimats et le pass\u00e9 durable de l\u2019\u00eele sont aujourd\u2019hui dot\u00e9s d\u2019un important patrimoine naturel et culturel, accessible aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations actuelles : une riche biodiversit\u00e9 et des paysages magnifiques. Ce n\u2019est pas un hasard si pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00eele est class\u00e9e zone Natura 2000. Le don de GBTN co-parrainera ce projet \u00e0 hauteur de 50 %. Une petite partie du budget sera \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9e pour la production de s\u00e9quences vid\u00e9o, n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 des fins publicitaires et de reddition de comptes.
