Operano come micro-habitat e costituiscono un\u2019infrastruttura verde essenziale da preservare come misura per proteggere la flora e la fauna locali e per rafforzare i meccanismi di adattamento degli ecosistemi al cambiamento climatico. Questo progetto mira a ripristinare muretti a secco gravemente danneggiati su un percorso escursionistico in un\u2019area incontaminata di Andros appartenente alla rete Natura. dal IV millennio a.C. era prevalentemente agricola, ha oggi una produzione agricola limitata. A causa del suo carattere montuoso, ha il privilegio di avere pi\u00f9 acqua rispetto al resto delle isole Cicladi. I diversi microclimi e il passato sostenibile dell\u2019isola sono oggi benedetti da un importante patrimonio naturale e culturale a disposizione delle generazioni attuali: una ricca biodiversit\u00e0 e paesaggi meravigliosi. Non \u00e8 un caso che quasi met\u00e0 dell\u2019isola sia designata come area Natura 2000. La donazione di GBTN co-finanzier\u00e0 questo progetto per il 50%. Inoltre, una piccola parte del budget sar\u00e0 utilizzata per la produzione di filmati video, necessari per scopi pubblicitari e di rendicontazione.
